This committee meets a few times a year to select the calendar of events Seminars, Lunch topics, NAA Certification Classes and Selection of all speakers:

Organizing letter campaigns, fund raisers, notifications of issues that affect the apartment owners in Kansas and Missouri.

Each month this committee is responsible for checking people in at the door at all events, greeters, sells raffle tickets.  They are also planning a big family picnic and a bowling tournament for 2010.

In 2010, this committee is working again with the Ronald McDonald House, fixing meals, craft nights, work at the houses in KC and helping to build a playground for the kids. Lots of activities to help with at the house.  Also we have teamed up with Dress for Success.  Suit Drive, Career Resume help, Seminars for Women, etc.

The Social Media Committee was created to enhance the presence of AAKC both locally and nationally. Through social media, we will bring awareness to upcoming events, seminars, educational opportunities and other ways that current and new members are able to get involved. We are confident through this new committee we will help to strengthen our other committees and encourage new members to join.

The Trade Show committee plans all the events - Selection of location to hold the event, diagram for booth, booth sales, food selection, decorations, and more.   We also hold our Maintenance Mania event right before the Trade Show starts.

Our goal is to keep this site current and informative by posting committee updates, highlighting upcoming and past events, and providing detailed information on all AAKC activities throughout the year. This committee works on developing the website, adding new pages, keeping the website up to date.
