Construction Coordinator, Kansas Asphalt

I have been working for Kansas Asphalt for several years. I became involved with the AAKC in 2012. At that time I also became involved with a few different committees. I am currently serving on the Membership, the Care Pack and Synergy committees as well as the Supplier Partner Board.
These committees have been a great way for me to meet more people in the industry as well as a deep personal appreciation for everyone that helps with the various tasks that the groups accomplish. The personal heart felt feeling that you get from giving back to people in need cannot be put into words. It is one of the greatest feelings in the world when you see the smile on their faces.
In my personal life I run a doggie day care and foster animals that are waiting to be adopted. Furballs -n- 4 Paws is the name of my facility and with a lot of sweat, hard work and praying it has become very successful in less than a year. This is a huge passion of mine. Not only dog sitting, but helping animals that come from an abusive or neglecting environment on the road to recovery and learn to be happy again.

I have been married for 13 years to an awesome man. I have 2 children, 3 bonus (step) daughters and 2 adopted daughters which have blessed me with 16 grandchildren. I have been a part time Christian most of my live and about a year ago I re-surrendered my life to Jesus and have been so happy and at piece since then.
