We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our apartment community. This position requires supervising and coordinating all installation, maintenance and repair work performed by maintenance employees in the general upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service, strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with hiring, training, disciplining and making recommendations for promotion for service, custodial and grounds personnel.
  • Responsible for inventory, ordering necessary supplies and equipment, as well as upkeep of all property tools required by Harbor Group.
  • Performing general maintenance such as: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
  • Responding to residence service request in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Analyzing and resolving work problems or assisting workers in solving work problems.
  • Responsible for ensuring OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times.
  • Responsible for thorough knowledge and enforcing of company and property community policies.
  • Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
  • Responsible to be available to work on an on-call basis.

Qualified Skills

Required: Two to five years in multifamily property maintenance and one to three year’s supervisory experience.
Required: Valid driver’s license, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) certification
Preferred: Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT)
