Dan Rains

Dan Rains has been actively involved in the Kansas City multi-family industry for the past decade, dedicating the last four years to his valuable contributions as a member of the Apartment Association. His journey embarked as a Regional Maintenance Supervisor at Worcester Communities, showcasing his unparalleled expertise in this role before embarking on a transition to Redi Carpet, where his talents were employed on the supplier side. Presently, Dan is an esteemed member of several committees, namely Maintenance Careers, DE&I, and Community Linc, all of which he actively engages with.



In recognition of his remarkable commitment, Dan was honored with the prestigious title of Multi-Family Volunteer of the Year for AAKC in the year 2021. Also was awarded the Supplier Partner Volunteer of the Year for AAKC in 2023. This recognition speaks volumes about his remarkable dedication and selflessness within the industry. Furthermore, Dan holds professional designations, including CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician) and CAS (Certified Apartment Supplier). These certifications not only demonstrate his undeniable proficiency but also portray him as a highly respected figure in the field.



Outside of his professional sphere, Dan finds solace and joy in spending quality time with his beloved wife and five children. The age range of his children spans from 24 years to a newborn, reflecting the rewarding journey he cherishes as a dedicated family man.
