Dennis Watts, a Regional Property Manager with The Yarco Company oversees the management and operations of ten apartment communities of 1080 units located in Kansas City metropolitan area.
His duties include physical and financial performance, supervising of on-site personnel, owner and residents relationships and regional property operating standards.
Mr. Watts has more than 20 years of property management experience including conventional, tax credit, affordable and cooperative multifamily units.
Previously, he was the Regional Portfolio Manager for ConAm Management Company 2008 – 2014, Simpson Property Group 2006-2008 and AIMCO 1996-2006. He has managed various types of multifamily real estate in multiple geographic regions of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Mr. Watts is active in the Apartment Association of Kansas City, National Apartment Association, Institute of Real Estate Management and Heartland Apartment Association. He serves as Chairman of The Apartment Association 2017, Vice Chairman of the Apartment Association of Kansas City 2015-2016. He serves on the Legislative Committee for the National Apartment Association 2015, 2016, 2017. He served as President of the Apartment Association of Kansas City 2005-2006. He also serves as a Director on The Heartland Apartment Association Board. He holds the CPM designation from IREM and CAPS designation from NAA, Lyceum designation NAA, Lyceum designation AAKC, LEAD designation AAKC.
