Kim Coates works for Cushman Wakefield as a Senior Regional Property Manager, oversees 2200 units in the Kansas City area. She received the Management Executive award in 2018 and the Regional Property Manager of the year in 2022 with Cushman & Wakefield for Best NOI financial results.
She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. Kim has more than 25 years of Property Management experience including conventional, tax credit and Section 8.
Kim has earned her Certified Apartment Manager credentials as well as her Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor credentials through the National Apartment Association. Kim has also received her LEAD designation from the Apartment Association of Kansas City. She is also a graduate of the Lyceum program through the AAKC.
Kim has served on the Board in the past as a Director, Secretary, Treasurer and First Vice President. She is currently serving as a Director on the Missouri Apartment Association Board of Directors as well. Kim serves on the NAAEI Board of Directors and the NAA Membership Committee. She has received numerous awards over the years including Management Executive of the Year 2011 and Multi-site supervisor of the Year in 2010 and her team received Management Company of the Year 2019 at the Chairman’s Awards Dinner.
