Nick Brummel

Nick Brummel is the founder and Managing Director of Brummel Lawn and Landscape LLC. After graduation from Northwest Missouri State University, he founded Brummel Lawn and Landscape LLC.
Brummel Lawn and Landscape LLC is based in Blue Springs and has over 80 employees during the peak season. Brummel Lawn and Landscape LLC offers full-service lawn maintenance, landscape, irrigation maintenance, and installation. During the winter, offers winter weather services and other capital projects.
Nick prides himself and company on their customer service and Team First mentality (greater good over self-interest), that has evolved from his partnership with Sporting Kansas City. Nick and Brummel Lawn and Landscape, LLC has been a member of AAKC since 2008. Nick has served on numerous committees and both boards, earned his CAM designation, is a LEAD graduate, and has completed the Lyceum program. Nick is very active in government affairs within the AAKC and with the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) where he was the Government Affairs Chair from 2020-22 and still serves on the council and makes frequent trips throughout the year to Washington DC for legislative matters. Nick currently serves as the NALP PAC chair.
In 2022, Nick was honored with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award from the National Association of Landscape Professionals. Nick is currently serving as a Blue Springs Parks and Recreation Commissioner. Nick is still very active in the day to-day management of Brummel Lawn and Landscape LLC and makes sure he is present on jobsites and stays engaged with clients to ensure that the values of the company continue to serve the needs of the clients.
Nick lives in Blue Springs with his wife Kate and daughter Paige. During his down time, Nick enjoys getting away to the lake and watching Paige be involved in everything from sports to dance.
