With over 20 years of multifamily experience in leasing, operations, and training, she is
now the CEO & Principal Coach of Activation Coaching International™ powered by The
Activation Hour® with the mission to give a voice to the unseen and unheard at work
and in the world through coaching, speaking, and media. Her ACI Institute certifies
leaders to shift from manager to coach inside of their organizations and to build their
personal platforms and brands of impact and influence.
As a Certified Executive Leadership & Life Coach, she has coached hundreds of
leaders to "be seen and heard at work and in the world.”

Melissa is a past recipient of The Alexandra Jackiw Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship
and has served on various NAA committees, such as the Curriculum Committee and
NAA Diversity Task Force. Specializing in learning and development, leasing training,
and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, she is a member of the Atlanta
Apartment Association and the Georgia Chapter of the International Coaching
Federation.

As a humanitarian, Melissa is the Founder of Writing Our Wrongs, Inc., a non-profit
organization with the mission of activating the voices of youth for social justice and anti-
bullying. She lends her voice and global outreach to countries such as India, Uganda,
The Bahamas, and Ghana as well as consultancy with domestic and international
organizations.

As an influential voice and thought leader, she is a media contributor featured in
