SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Leasing Consultant/Office Assistant is a brand ambassador as the first point of contact between prospects, residents, members, and customers. Responsible for marketing the community to prospective residents, assisting with daily administrative operations and the functions necessary to lease apartments. The Leasing Consultant/Office Assistant regularly works from the front desk at Club Woodside welcoming and assisting members, residents, and guests. Woodside Village North and Club Woodside make it a priority for all employees to energize and engage with residents and Club members, helping them to understand and fully integrate into the community that is Woodside. DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES: • Greeting everyone who enters Woodside Village North or Club Woodside with a professional and pleasant demeanor at all times. • Provides exceptional customer service assisting all residents, members, prospects, visitors, and customers, answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and accommodating requests. • Seamlessly transitions between fast-paced environments with the ability to take initiative. appropriately prioritize tasks and work independently. • Coordinates and provides tours of the apartment community and Club Woodside highlighting all features, amenities, and benefits of each asset. • Assists the Regional Business Manager to always ensure maximum resident and retail occupancy at Woodside Village North. Qualifies potential residents by addressing customer needs and preferences along with eligibility while complying with Fair Housing Laws and Woodside Village Management non-discriminatory leasing policy. • Thoroughly explains the application process and requirements of the lease contract with all prospects and residents. Ensures that each application, lease, and lease renewal are processed in a timely manner through the property supported database/software system. • Facilitates all resident and member requests for assistance, transfers, move-in and move-out processes, residential or membership transactions, seeking approval from the Regional Business Manager or Director of Member Staff. • Assists in maintaining accurate records including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, renter's insurance, resident & member notices, move-in and move-out documentation, applications, market surveys, lease documentation, daily operations documentation, facility reservations, and membership agreements. • Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of all policies and procedures. • All other duties as directed/assigned or as required to maintain optimum resident and member relations and presentation to the public. POSITION DETAILS: Job Type: full-time position Pay Rate: starting at $17.50 per hour + commissions with bonus potential. Locations: Woodside Village North + Woodside North & South Club (Westwood, KS) Schedule: 8 hours per day | Tuesday – Saturday
Educational Requirements:*
Education/Experience: • High school diploma or GED, required. • College coursework or equivalent work experience in real estate, business or Residential leasing, sales or hospitality is preferred. • 1 year or more of experience in property management required.

Skills: • High energy level, assertive and great people skills • On-site property management (leasing, bookkeeping, etc. • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills • Demonstrated proficiency in working with computers including Microsoft 360, Calendar management, software/database systems and social media. • Able to think and adapt quickly. • Common sense practical thinking and comprehension
