I have spent over 25 years in the commercial playground industry, with 20 of those years focused on construction, installation and service. My work has always been about more than just equipment—it's about creating spaces where children can play, communities can connect, and people of all ages can stay active. That passion led me to start Next Generation Recreation, where my team and I provide thoughtful, high-quality recreation solutions throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

My experience extends beyond playgrounds. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to install play spaces internationally in Egypt, Guatemala, and Israel. I’ve also been involved in industry education, serving as an NRPA CPSI Instructor, a board member for the NPCAI, and an advisor for Playworld Systems. These roles have allowed me to contribute to the standards and best practices that keep play spaces safe and enjoyable.

At Next Generation Recreation, we offer more than just playgrounds. Our work includes everything from skate parks, dog parks, outdoor fitness equipment, sports equipment, bleacher seating, shade structures, shelters and site amenities like benches, trash cans, bike racks, and even drinking fountains. We also specialize in safety inspections, compliance audits, and playground surfacing testing to ensure play areas meet the highest safety standards.

I take pride in combining expertise, hands-on experience, and a dedicated team to bring projects to life. Whether it's designing a new playground, improving an existing space, or ensuring safety and compliance, my focus is always on creating environments that serve communities for years to come.
