I began my career 15 years ago hired as the youngest catastrophic claims adjuster a major carrier had ever hired. I put my stamp on the industry using my strong communication skills in both the written & verbal form to connect clients with a deeper understanding of their insurance policy benefits & the coverage analyses that lead to their claim outcome. I moved into a field position, traveling the country from catastrophic event to catastrophic event. However, as the insurance industry has changed drastically the past decade from being focused on upholding promises made & has turned towards protecting the insurance carrier's bottom line, I became disenchanted with my role as an adjuster and claims executive. I have a strong desire to help people recover from unexpected circumstances & I could only do that when I was actually allowed to to help.
I left the carrier side of the business & partnered with Allen Claims, INC, a leading Public Adjusting firm in the Kansas City area servicing clients nationwide. As their Claims & Operations manager, I assist our Public Adjuster & Owner in changing lives.
When a client is uninterested in handling their own claim or has been done wrong by their insurance company, we are able to step in, negotiate on their behalf, and hold carriers accountable to those promises they sold in their policy contract.
We handle losses of all types first party damage related. This includes catastrophic storm damage, sprinkler head leaks & interior floods, fires, and vandalism. I'm happy to be with a company where I can make a difference in lives, financially protect clients, and build strong relationships.
